HVAC Instructor – or Experienced Technician + Sign on Bonus 

Location: Brockton, MA
Salary: $65,000–$75,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time

Are you an experienced HVAC Technician ready to share your knowledge and help train the next generation of skilled professionals?

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated HVAC Instructor to deliver classroom and hands-on technical instruction to students preparing for careers in the HVAC industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who wants to move into education while continuing to use their real-world industry expertise.

Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required. Paid instructor training is provided.

Available Schedules

Candidates may be considered for either schedule:

Day Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 6:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m.
• Friday: 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Evening Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.
• Friday: 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver engaging classroom and hands-on HVAC instruction.
• Teach established curriculum using real-world examples and industry best practices.
• Demonstrate HVAC systems, tools, equipment, troubleshooting methods, and safety procedures.
• Monitor student attendance, academic progress, technical skills, and competency development.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and additional support to help students succeed.
• Promote strong student completion and retention rates.
• Help prepare graduates for employment in the HVAC industry.
• Maintain accurate student records and complete required administrative documentation.
• Maintain all required educational qualifications, certifications, and technical competencies.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative staff to support positive student outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least three years of professional HVAC Technician experience .
• Current Oil Burner Certificate .
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, service procedures, tools, and safety practices.
• Desire to teach, mentor, and support students.
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous teaching, training, coaching, or mentoring experience.
• Outgoing, approachable, and encouraging personality.
• Ability to explain technical information to individuals with different experience levels.
