Responsibilities Performs maintenance and trouble-shooting functions on all warehousing equipment in an independent and effective manner Maintains and trouble-shoots plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air, and vacuum as applicable Understands shop maintenance, parts inventory, parts ordering, and plant reporting systems Performs routine forklift repairs Maintains batteries and related equipment Perfoms routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) and maintains records of repairs If required, provides training, including aspects of safety, quality, sanitation, and efficiency of packaging/warehouse equipment, for operations associates Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
