Valiant is looking for a Warsim Database Administrator to join our team!

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Warfighter Simulation (WARSIM), Database Manager. Responsible for planning, developing, and executing constructive simulation training activities and scenarios.
• Develop, manage, and maintain the simulation database, using tools such as the Joint Training Data Services (JTDS).
• Develop, test, and evaluate new platforms against current platforms in WARSIM database.
• Enter all weapons and Force data; create operational graphics and overlays for the simulation systems.
• Develop and enter BLUFOR/OPFOR/Neutral force structure according to doctrinal standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Active Secret preferred.

Education And Certification Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Must have Security+ certification and additional certifications to meet DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification.
• Desired: Associate degree in computer/information technology, or mathematics, or related field.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years' military experience or 7+ years working in support of military operations, as a civilian.
• 1+ years' experience with WARSIM or other entity level combat simulation.
• Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows. In depth knowledge of military equipment, organization and capabilities.
• Must be able to travel unaccompanied to continental US and foreign locations.
• Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with large scale live, virtual, constructive exercises, ideally at a Combat Training Center or mission training complex.
• 2+ years' experience at a military battle simulation center.

Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
