Your Responsibilities Include
- Performing radiographic and CT imaging techniques to create high-quality diagnostic images for medical evaluation
- Collaborating with radiologists and healthcare practitioners to facilitate accurate diagnoses
- Positioning patients skillfully and calibrating imaging equipment to ensure maximized output
- Ensuring radiation safety protocols are adhered to for both patients and colleagues
- Keeping precise records, including imaging logs and equipment maintenance documentation
- Delivering compassionate care to patients throughout their imaging experiences
- Upholding a safe and organized work environment that enhances efficiency
Education Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is a must; a Bachelor's Degree will be considered an asset
- Completion of an accredited program in radiology
Essential Certifications
- ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography) is required
- Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols and patient safety standards
- Exceptional communication skills for interacting with patients and the interdisciplinary team
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt swiftly to evolving circumstances
- A keen eye for detail and a solid sense of responsibility.
- Comfort with technology, including PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software
