Software Developer (Advanced)Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite/Hybrid as applicable) Duration: June 1, 2026 – May 31, 2027 Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Software Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-scale trade processing applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong Core Java expertise, database development skills, and experience working throughout the full software development lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to design solutions for complex business challenges.Create detailed technical specifications and design documentation.Develop, enhance, and maintain core trade processing systems.Create, execute, and support comprehensive test plans.Participate in application architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment activities.Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring application stability and performance.Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.Minimum 5+ years of experience in enterprise software development.Strong experience with Core Java (POJO) development.Hands-on expertise with:MultithreadingJDBCJMSStrong SQL and relational database experience.Experience creating and tuning complex SQL queries for performance optimization.Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Kafka.Experience with Sybase and/or SQL Server.Knowledge of J2EE technologies.Experience developing user interfaces using ReactJS or similar front-end frameworks.Experience within the financial services or banking industry.Required Technical SkillsCore Java (POJO)MultithreadingJDBCJMSSQLUnix/LinuxShell ScriptingPreferred Technical SkillsKafkaSybaseSQL ServerJ2EEReactJS
