Job Title:Clinical Research Assistant Department:Medicine | IM Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Job Description To provide assistance in support of clinical research studies being done within the Department of Internal Medicine/Division of Endocrinology in partnership with with the College of Medicine (COM) Center for Clinical Research Management (CCRM); assists with implementation and coordination of studies; participates in recruitment of study participants; performs behavioral or diagnostic testing; assists with collection maintenance & reporting of clinical research data. Minimum Education Required Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in biological sciences. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in biological sciences, health sciences or medical field, or equivalent combination of education experience. Desired Qualifications Experience in research capacity desired; knowledge or experience in specialty may be desired; experience in phlebotomy may be desired; experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens may be desired; computer skill required with knowledge of database software applications desired. Additional Information Travel within the Columbus metropolitan area may be required; locations are in New Albany, Dublin, Powell, West Ohio State Campus, and the Main Campus of Wexner Medical Center. This position is based at Outpatient East Location:Outpatient Care East (0837) Position Type:Regular Scheduled Hours:40 Shift: First Shift Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
