Manager - Asset Protection (New Store Opening) - Main Street at Exton Rack

The Manager of Asset Protection (AP) is responsible for supervising Asset Protection teams in the store they support. This supervision includes recruiting, development, performance oversight and budgeting. The manager also executes the company shrinkage reduction strategy within their store/building and ensures the safety and security of employees, theft prevention, and alignment with company values and business strategy. Key Responsibilities Lead by example and execute the organizational strategy set by the AP Division. Develop strong relationships within the store, including Store Manager, Service Experience, Inventory Accuracy, and Human Resources, and lead shrink‑impacting initiatives. Act as owner of building security and safety, educating the store on emergency preparedness topics and assisting employees in safety incidents. Monitor and communicate all reports to ensure that AP incidents and cases are reported and documented properly. Leverage data to identify trends and mitigate internal and external theft. Lead execution of the company shrink program and directives, including shrink reduction plans and detection of theft and dishonesty issues. Hire and develop talent capable of supporting internal and external investigations, auditing, shortage reduction programs, AP awareness programs, and system controls. Use data‑driven reporting to identify risks and mitigate issues that reduce loss and maximize profitability. Qualifications Proven success in investigative, asset protection, and security procedures, plus prior AP leadership experience. Comprehensive understanding of Exception‑Based Reporting tools and Case Management Software. Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with other employees and leaders. Strong communication skills, clear and professional with coworkers and customers. Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills in high‑stress situations. Excellent written communication skills. Strong organizational, delegation, and follow‑through skills. Capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Computer proficiency, including use of monitoring and surveillance technologies. High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative. Availability for a flexible schedule based on department and store needs.
