Tulsa Associate Youth Pastor

Provide pastoral care to Oneighty High School students, strategically partnering with the Youth Pastor to support the overall health of the ministry through relational leadership and volunteer care. RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee High School discipleship across Tulsa midweek and weekend ministry environments. Partner with the Youth Pastor to provide pastoral care and support to students and their families through presence, counseling, prayer, and follow-up. Develop and implement student leadership opportunities that encourage spiritual growth. Contribute to the planning and execution of Oneighty events, retreats, and conferences. Build and maintain strong relationships with volunteer leaders. Care for and support the Tulsa High School midweek volunteer team, shepherding volunteer health through encouragement, development, and retention strategies. Serve as a pastoral bridge between the Church and local High Schools. Support ministry alignment, vision, and execution through collaboration with the Tulsa Youth Pastor and Youth Ministry team. Assist with general care at COTM Tulsa including but not limited to, Care Pastor schedule, funerals, weddings, hospital visits, and pastoral appointments. Communicate in midweek and weekend Jhi services as needed. QUALIFICATIONS Ability to preach/teach to students from stage A clear calling to student ministry and the local church Strong relational, pastoral, and leadership skills Ability to effectively disciple students and develop volunteer leaders Ability to work well within a collaborative team environment Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
