Join Our Team as a Patient Care Coordinator at Carmel Eyecare!
Are you an organized, upbeat individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Carmel Eyecare is looking for a Patient Care Coordinator / Medical Receptionist to join our dedicated team.
This role is similar to a medical receptionist or front desk coordinator position within a busy optometry office. If you enjoy helping others, have a knack for multitasking, and want to be part of a friendly and supportive workplace, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do as a Patient Care Coordinator / ReceptionistAs the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a key role in ensuring they have a positive experience from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting patients warmly and making them feel welcome.
- Managing appointment scheduling and maintaining an organized calendar.
- Verifying vision benefits and eligibility.
- Assisting with patient check-ins and check-outs.
- Handling phone inquiries and providing accurate information.
- Supporting the team with administrative and customer service tasks to keep the office running smoothly.
We’re seeking someone who:
- Has a positive, upbeat attitude and enjoys working with people.
- Excels at multitasking and staying organized in a busy environment.
- Communicates effectively and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.
