Our ideal team member is passionate and progressively seeking more responsibilities to expand their expertise.ResponsibilitiesLead healthcare planning and programming efforts from early visioning and master planning through design and constructionContribute to business development efforts, including proposals and interviewsTranslate clinical operations, patient experience goals, and project priorities into clear, functional planning solutionsDevelop creative, technically sound planning concepts that align with project goals, budgets, and regulatory requirementsCollaborate closely with clients, clinical stakeholders, and internal teams to guide decision-making and build consensusCoordinate multidisciplinary teams and consultants to ensure alignment with planning intent and project objectivesLead the development of planning deliverables to ensure quality, clarity, and consistency with Corgan standardsSupport project leadership with scope, schedule, and fee throughout project deliveryPresent planning concepts confidently in client meetings, workshops, and user group sessionsFoster professional relationships with clients and consultantsMentor and support junior planners, contributing to a collaborative, growth-oriented studio cultureQualificationsThis role is an in-office positionProfessional degree in Architecture or Interior Design; healthcare focus strongly preferredLicensed Architect or Interior Designer preferred or actively pursuing licensure8+ years of experience in architecture with a focus in healthcare planningProven experience in healthcare programming, master planning, and conceptual designStrong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and patient-centered environmentsLeadership ability to bring creativity and technical acumen to the delivery of complex healthcare projectsExperience in business development efforts, including developing proposals, presenting in interviews, and maintaining existing and developing new client relationships through successful project deliveryExperience in delivering successful healthcare projects that comply with relevant building codes, FGI, ADA, construction standards, and other related regulatory requirementsConfident, client-facing communicator with experience leading planning discussionsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teamsProficiency in Revit and familiarity with BIM-based planning workflowsInterest in mentorship, collaboration, and long-term professional growth within an in-office environmentThis position is designated as full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
