RN Emergency Clinical Nurse Coordinator Belton

HCA Healthcare is seeking an experienced RN Emergency Clinical Nurse Coordinator for our Belton emergency department within our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate clinical operations on your assigned shift, serving as a clinical resource, charge nurse, and frontline leader to ensure safe, high‑quality, patient‑centered emergency care. You will collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, fellow nurses, technicians, and ancillary staff to prioritize and manage patient flow, support rapid triage and stabilization, and uphold evidence‑based emergency nursing practice.
The RN Emergency Clinical Nurse Coordinator will provide direct bedside care to a diverse emergency patient population, including medical, surgical, trauma, cardiac, neurologic, and behavioral health presentations across all age groups. You will oversee assignment acuity, monitor staffing and workload, and escalate issues to leadership as needed to maintain optimal throughput and patient safety. Using your clinical judgment and critical thinking skills, you will support complex decision‑making during high‑acuity situations, codes, and rapid responses, guiding the team in following established protocols and standards.
Key aspects of this role include mentoring and coaching nursing staff, serving as a resource for clinical questions and procedures, and fostering a collaborative, respectful environment that reflects HCA Healthcare’s culture of compassion, teamwork, innovation, and integrity. You will assist with onboarding and precepting new team members, reinforce compliance with policies, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements, and participate in performance improvement, quality initiatives, and patient experience efforts within the emergency department.
