Experience:
- Experience providing medical nutrition therapy in an acute care hospital or facility preferred.
- Experience providing, managing, coordinating, or supervising patient nutrition care in an outpatient facility, and/or with bariatric patients preferred.
License:
- Registered Dietitian required within 6 months of hire.
- Licensed Dietitian required within 6 months of hire.
Certifications:
- BLS
- RD
Must-Have:
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Dietetics or a related field.
- Completion of a Dietetic Internship or equivalent program approved by the appropriate accrediting council.
Description:
- Hours per week: 34 hours.
- Days of the week: Monday to Friday.
- Daily start and end time: 08:30 - 16:30.
- Demonstrates understanding of current medical nutrition therapy standards for various patient populations.
- Displays excellent customer service skills through creative problem solving.
- Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understands and uses all clinical forms and reference materials.
- Follows departmental policies and pathways.
- Works efficiently and responsibly in an environment with multiple work demands and short time frames.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
