You'll be a trusted clinical leader for your patients, a mentor to APPs, and an advocate for the residents in your care, while enjoying a level of flexibility and independence that's genuinely rare in medicine today.Full-Time or Part-Time Schedules AvailableProvide compassionate, evidence-based care by completing history and physicals on new patients and conducting routine rounding (minimum once per week).Partner with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to manage regulatory and complex patient visits, ensuring compliance and clinical excellence.Oversee APP performance, serving as a mentor and resource to elevate care delivery across your team.Close quality gaps when prompted, driving measurable improvements in patient outcomes.Serve as a trusted advocate for patients—championing what matters most to them.Represent Curana Health's mission and values as a clinical leader and ambassador in the communities you serve.Medical Directorship OpportunitiesFor physicians interested in taking on a greater leadership role, Curana offers Medical Directorship opportunities at our partner facilities. Medical Directors are clinical leaders who help shape the quality and culture of care at the facility level, working alongside facility leadership to drive better outcomes for residents.As a Medical Director, you would:Oversee the clinical care delivered to facility residents and take accountability for quality outcomes.Lead clinical quality metric review, including attending monthly QAPI meetings, analyzing CASPER and RTA data, and addressing areas like polypharmacy, infection control, and antibiotic stewardship.Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to Project Improvement Plans (PIPs).Mentor Curana-employed APPs, helping build a stronger, more consistent clinical team on the ground.Support facility leadership with regulatory compliance, including engaging with surveyors when needed to ensure state and federal guidelines are met.Help ensure that external attending physicians meet the quality and compliance standards of the facility.Medical Directorships come with additional compensation and are a natural path for physicians seeking to expand their clinical leadership footprint without leaving patient care behind.What Makes Curana DifferentFlexibility that actually works.
