Rose City Nursing and Rehabilitation | Lancaster, PA
Rose City Nursing and Rehabilitation, a skilled nursing facility in Lancaster, PA , is seeking an experienced Cook to join our dietary team.
In this role, you will assist with preparing and serving nutritious, well-balanced meals that meet established dietary guidelines and resident preferences. Your culinary skills and reliability will help ensure our residents receive a high-quality dining experience every day.
Schedule
Day and evening shifts
Every Other Weekend (EOW)
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements
Follow portion control standards and special diet orders accurately
Prepare food using standardized recipes and proper food safety procedures
Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment
Assist with meal service and food preparation as directed by the Dietary Manager
Ensure compliance with all dietary, sanitation, and safety regulations
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of one (1) year of cooking experience required
Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred
Culinary training is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Dependable, organized, and committed to resident satisfaction
