GroundskeeperThe Groundskeeper is responsible for the overall upkeep of the landscape and the interior / exterior image of the community. The Groundskeeper is a customer service driven team player. Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor Direct Reports: NoneRoles and ResponsibilitiesMaintain a clean, professional, and OSHA approved work environmentKeep the property litter freeAssist with unit trash outsDeliver noticesReport time and attendanceMake daily inspections of the communityUnderstand and adhere to the Landmark Properties policies and proceduresCustomer ServiceUnderstand the needs and expectations of residents and exceed their expectationsDevelop a sense of community among the residents and staffMaintain a positive community environment for both residents and associates and encourage participation in events and activitiesAssist with the property's turnRisk ControlUnderstand, communicate, and enforce community safety, emergency, and fire evacuations policies and procedures, providing emergency response and referral services and resourcesDocument and report behaviors of residents that violate the law or the community lease agreement to the Community ManagerInspect the physical condition of the property and report any problems to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community ManagerRequirementsMust have excellent communication and people skillsMust possess the ability to work independentlyMust have attention for detailWork EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described herein are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
