Cath Lab Tech Position

Schedule

This position offers various shifts, including the primary shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech to join our team. This role involves performing essential procedures and contributing to the overall care of patients within the Cath Lab. You will be responsible for monitoring and documenting patient conditions, as well as collaborating with the healthcare team to coordinate care effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical care treatments, including medication administration and specimen collection.
• Document patient care and ensure accurate communication with the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, nutrition, and mobility.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, transfers, and discharges.
• Evaluate the educational needs of patients and families and provide appropriate guidance.
• Advocate for patients' physical and emotional well-being.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Cath Lab.
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
