Associate Veterinarian - Part-time or Full-time - Bellingham, WA Location: Bellingham, WA Bellingham is the City of Subdued Excitement, known for its range of outdoor activities in the woods, the snow, and the water. We are also well stocked with breweries, delicious food, a bustling downtown Farmer’s Market on Saturdays, and lots of places to see live music, comedy, and theater. We have the feel of a bigger city but we’ve packaged it into a smaller town package. For those larger events you are looking at, Seattle an/or Vancouver, BC are only a couple of hours drive south or north along I-5. The hospital itself is located about 10 miles outside of the city limits. On clear days, we have a great view of Mount Baker from our parking lot. There are food options close by and a spot to go to the Nooksack River to get away at lunch time and read a book. Services: Open Monday through Saturday Small Animal only at this time. We have monthly meetings to go over new topics and they enjoy teaching and learning from one another. We are looking for a veterinarian that can look at patients as individuals, embrace the spectrum of care, and bring new ideas and methods to our array of services. We are willing to work with you on a work schedule that works for everyone. Clinic, Equipment, and support team: Anesthetic machines and monitoring equipment, surgery lights and table 2 lasers: K-Laser and Summus Portable ultrasound machine Underwater Treadmill Fiber internet and individual computers for each doctor 1 Assigned Assistant to each doctor for every shift, plus a float and/or LVT Compensation: Competitive salary + production pool bonus PTO, Holidays Comprehensive medical insurance options. Exciting upcoming changes for us : A new software: we are switching from a Cloud Based Server to a Web based software (Shepherd): early Spring 2026 We are adding Dental Radiology and a second anesthesia machine: end of Winter 2026 Our LVT will be able to offer much needed Rehabilitation to the patients in the surrounding areas once she gets her certification: end of Summer 2026 Requirements for this role: DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary program, or currently enrolled and expected to graduate from an accredited veterinary program Licensed or license-eligible in Washington Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. The salary for this opportunity starts at $120,000+ annually. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
