A Plaintiff's personal injury lawyer handling cases in Maryland and the District who (1) taught trial advocacy at GW Law School from 2008-2012, (2) is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, (3) has been rated a SuperLawyer for 14 years, seeks an associate with 3-5 years of experience possessing excellent organizational, oral advocacy and writing skills, and a car. Depending upon experience, the work will include: conducting legal research; drafting lawsuits, discovery responses, motions, oppositions, memoranda, and briefs; meeting with clients; taking and defending depositions; arguing motions; and trying cases solo (the size of the cases will depend on experience) and as second chair . The office is located 5 minutes from the New Carrollton Metro Station and from where the DC Beltway meets 50. This is a full-time position with negotiable benefits. The position is hybrid and working 3 days a week in the office and the remaining time at home is preferred. Candidates must be admitted to Maryland Bar. Candidates must also be admitted to the DC Bar or be willing to gain admission.
