Must have experience! 4 days on / 2 days off 2 Evening Shifts (11 AM to 7 PM) / 2 AM shifts (5 AM to 1 PM) - Available for Weekends and Holidays - Knowledge of Therapeutic Diets Required As a cook, you will prepare and serve meals, oversee foodservice operation, and ensures adequate food and supplies are available. - Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe
- Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions made on proper form
- Clean and maintains a neat, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas
- Comply with state sanitation codes
- Maintain inventory control, places food orders, verifies that items are received appropriately, and restock appropriately
- Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed
- Can obtain a Food Handlers card. Meet all mandatory health requirements by state regulations
- Read, write, speak and understand English
