Picker/Packer
A growing logistics company in East El Paso is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join its warehouse team. This position is responsible for accurately picking customer orders, packing products for shipment, maintaining inventory organization, and ensuring quality standards are met in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Accurately locate and pick products from warehouse inventory according to order specifications.
- Sort and organize products and materials for shipment or storage.
- Pack items safely, accurately, and efficiently to prevent damage during transportation.
- Prepare orders for shipping by labeling, staging, and verifying shipment information.
- Inspect products for defects or damage prior to packaging and shipment.
- Utilize handheld scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and process orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow company safety procedures and warehouse policies at all times.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, packing, sorting, or order-picking experience preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic experience using warehouse technology, including handheld scanners and warehouse management systems, is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
