Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse for a 12-hour shift position within an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting. Candidates must have extensive experience with cardiovascular care, transplant management, and EPIC charting. This role offers an opportunity to work at a reputable facility providing complex patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing care to cardiac and transplant patients.
• Monitor and manage arrhythmias, heart failure, and transplant medications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and clinical interventions accurately using EPIC system.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations.
• Assist with float to ICU as required.

Qualifications:

• Possess NY RN license with active licensure and license number.
• Hold current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of relevant experience in cardiac, transplant, or ICU settings.
• Have experience with VADs, specifically HeartMate 3, and cardiothoracic surgeries such as CABG, TAVR, and valve replacements.
• Be proficient in managing arrhythmias, transplant medications, and post-operative care.
