Senior Network Engineer

Salary: $130,000 - 155,000 per year Requirements:

• We need at least 6 years of enterprise networking experience in a hands-on engineering or operations capacity.
• We need strong practical experience with Aruba and/or Cisco LAN, WAN, and wireless environments.
• We need a solid grasp of dynamic routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, along with Layer 2 technologies including VLANs, STP, and QoS.
• We need experience administering Check Point firewalls, including policy management and VPN troubleshooting.
• We need working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure networking, including VPCs/VNets, routing, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, and VPN connectivity.
• We need proficiency in at least one scripting language for network automation.
• We need experience leading incident response and root cause analysis for complex network incidents.
• We need strong documentation skills and familiarity with ITIL-aligned change management practices.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with Aruba ClearPass NAC for access control and segmentation.
• Preferred qualifications include prior use of Terraform and Git in an enterprise environment, with the expectation of achieving working proficiency within 6 to 12 months if not already experienced.
• Preferred qualifications include exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks in a network engineering setting.
• Preferred certifications include CCNP, Aruba Certified Professional, or AWS/Azure networking certifications at associate or professional level.

• We own the day-to-day operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of on-premises and cloud-connected network infrastructure across global offices and data centers.
• We lead incident response for complex network issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution with minimal oversight.
• We manage global carrier services and connectivity across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.
• We maintain and continuously improve operational documentation, including network diagrams, runbooks, and change records.
• We participate in an after-hours/on-call rotation for critical incidents.
• We design and implement network solutions for LAN, WAN, wireless, and hybrid cloud connectivity within established architectural standards.
• We configure and deploy Aruba and/or Cisco infrastructure, including routing, switching, and wireless platforms.
• We lead network hardware and software lifecycle activities, including capacity planning, patching, and firmware upgrades.
• We evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations to senior architects.
• We implement and support hybrid connectivity between on-premises environments and AWS/Azure, including AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, and VPN setups.
• We apply cloud networking concepts such as VPCs, VNets, routing, and security groups to support operational and project needs.
• We collaborate with cloud and systems teams to ensure secure and consistent network integration across environments.
• We develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Git for network provisioning and configuration management.
• We write and maintain automation scripts in Python, Shell, or PowerShell to reduce repetitive work and improve efficiency.
• We contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and support broader Infrastructure as Code adoption.
• We administer Check Point firewalls, including rulebase management, policy optimization, and VPN configuration.
• We manage Aruba ClearPass NAC policies for access control, authentication, and segmentation.
• We uphold our network security standards across all environments and help drive compliance across the wider infrastructure.
• We provide technical guidance and day-to-day mentorship to our Network Engineers.
• We take part in design and architecture discussions, contributing operational insight and engineering perspective.
• We collaborate cross-functionally with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams on shared initiatives.

We are hiring a Senior Network Engineer to help us design, deploy, and operate enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises environments and cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
