Job Title: Registered Nurse – Cath Lab
Location: Apple Valley, CA
Type: Contract | 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 4x10 Hours | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | 40 Hours Per Week
On-Call: Required (Weeknights & Weekends)

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse – Cath Lab for an exciting Travel or Local job in Apple Valley, CA.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.

• Circulate and monitor patients during Cath Lab procedures.

• Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care and education.

• Perform patient assessments and monitor hemodynamic stability throughout procedures.

• Support right and left heart catheterizations and cardiac stent placements.

• Administer medications and maintain accurate procedural documentation.

• Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and patient care records.

• Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and departmental policies.

• Participate in required on-call rotation coverage.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

• Current ACLS certification required.

• Current BLS certification required.

• Experience with diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures.

• Experience with cardiac stent placement procedures.

• Experience with circulating responsibilities in the Cath Lab.

• Experience with right and left heart catheterization procedures.

• Experience using Epic EMR preferred.

• Strong critical-thinking, patient assessment, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of Cath Lab experience preferred.

• Previous travel assignment experience preferred.

• Strong interventional cardiology background.

• Experience working in a fast-paced acute care environment.
