This temp-to-hire opportunity offers consistent Monday-Friday hours and the chance to showcase your precision welding and fabrication skills.

What You'll Do

As a TIG Welder, you'll weld metal components using arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate and repair products according to layouts, welding diagrams and blueprints.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform TIG welding on metal components
• Read and follow blueprints, layouts and welding diagrams
• Bolt, clamp and tack-weld parts into position for welding
• Use tape measures, combination squares, protractors, vernier calipers and micrometers
• Produce accurate work while meeting close-tolerance requirements
• Follow safety procedures and work instructions

What We're Looking For

• TIG welding experience
• Must be able to pass a TIG weld test
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, safety rules and operating instructions
• Ability to accurately use measuring tools and instruments
• Basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, ratios and percentages
• Steel-toed boots required
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. regularly, 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, crouch and perform other physical tasks as needed
