The role includes comprehensive patient assessments, individualized care plan development, medication administration, patient education, collaboration with medical staff, accurate documentation, continuous evaluation of care plans, infection control, emotional support, supervision of healthcare team members, and participation in professional development.Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include organizational and multi-tasking skills, nursing care methods, teamwork, communication, EKG, English fluency, computer skills, and abstract reasoning. An associate's of nursing is required, with a bachelor's of nursing preferred. Preferred experience includes acute care hospital settings.Certifications include registered nurse (RN) and basic life support (BLS). Additional certifications are preferred but not required.
