Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36–48 Hours per Week Available | Projected Start: August 14, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Float across multiple critical care units including Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU)
• Provide competent ICU-level care to patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement
• Adapt quickly to varying patient populations and unit environments within a high-acuity, Level I Trauma Center setting
• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients across a broad spectrum of diagnoses
• Complete a required competency assessment within 24 hours of submission

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New York State
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Ability and willingness to float to a variety of critical care environments
• Navy blue scrubs required per dress code policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center strongly preferred
• Experience floating across multiple ICU specialties (neuro, cardiac, medical, surgical)
• Familiarity with progressive critical care and step-down patient populations
