Job Description Provide on-call support and participate in applying service packs and hotfixes to SQL Server environments. Remediate SQL Server audit reports and perform database refreshes from production to development and test environments. Monitor server performance using tools like SQL Profiler, Extended Events, Performance Monitor, and Configuration Monitor. Knowledge of clustering and high-availability is a plus. Install and configure new SQL Server instances. Troubleshoot CPU, memory, and I/O resource contention issues. Work across SQL versions including 2000, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012. Have basic knowledge of ITIL change management standards, processes, and procedures. Be a team player, motivated to learn new skills, and follow projects through end-to-end. Participate in on-call rotations for urgent issues. Maintain strong communication and collaboration skills. Be familiar with Remedy ticketing system. Additional requirements: drug test and background check; limited travel may be required.
