Retail Store Team Leader (Part-Time) - Westchester, NY

Job Title: Retail Store Team Leader (Part‑Time) Location: Westchester, NY Responsibilities Maximize profitable sales by regularly reviewing sales and margin information. Assist in ensuring appropriate and effective space management techniques are utilized. Maintain the store's graphics system (including pricing) with a focus on customer service and maximizing profitable sales. Ensure all fixtures are always replenished. Evaluate and communicate on competitor visual merchandising techniques, identifying opportunities to develop our business further. Train Sales Associates on visual merchandising techniques according to LEGO® Brand Retail guidelines. Motivate and develop a high‑performance team by sharing LEGO® Brand vision and values. Assists the ASM and SM in maintaining holiday, attendance, and team scheduling. Effectively supervise Sales Associates during the shift, addressing potential issues in line with LEGO policies and procedures. Complete orders for store and office supplies in line with guidelines and operating budgets. Ensure money handling procedures are followed by all Sales Associates. Maintain a well‑organized stockroom and ensure all products are merchandised on the shop floor, meeting loss‑prevention targets. Assists the ASM and SM in achieving a high standard of merchandise presentation following store guidelines. Qualifications and Experience Leadership and/or management experience in a retail store environment. Experience delivering employee training. Proficiency in cash handling and inventory/sales auditing. Knowledge of point‑of‑sale automated systems. Understanding of merchandise maintenance and visual merchandising. Physical ability to constantly move, talk, hear, reach, grab, and stand for at least two consecutive hours; ability to lift at least 30 lbs; occasional kneeling, crouching, and ladder climbing. Availability to work up to 30 hours per week (must be able to be scheduled for those hours). Compensation The hourly wage for this part‑time position ranges from $23.50 to $24.90, depending on experience, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints.
