Discover more about the Hourglass brand story and mission on their website.The Senior Demand Planner is responsible for owning end-to-end demand forecasting for an assigned region, acting as the primary forecast lead and cross-functional partner across commercial, operations, and supply chain teams. This person serves as a link between the sales, finance, and supply chain functions to ensure alignment between plans and will work to create and achieve consensus for forecasts through collaborative cross-functional planning processes.What You DoOwn demand planning for an assigned region, supporting the wider team including:Create and manage top-down and bottom-up finished goods wholesale and retail forecastsLead regional forecast reviews with international and domestic commercial teamsLead forecasting process for HOURGLASS' new product development, sampling, and gratisOwn forecast accuracy metrics, analyzing variances and driving continuous improvement to minimize forecast errorContribute to the monthly S&OP process, aligning demand plans with supply and financeSupport team members in training and developmentCompile monthly SKU-level global forecasts by retailer and region including:Work alongside local market teams to analyze retailer and product performance trends and variances to forecastProactively partner with operations and supply chain teams to identify and close inventory gaps and mitigate overstock riskConsolidate and analyze data from various sources across retail sales, wholesale, and operational dataIdentify and initiate action in response to trends/issuesTechnology including:Serve as subject matter expert for Oracle Planning Cloud Demand Planning ToolPartner with Unilever Prestige IT and external partners on Planning Tool upgrades and maintenanceDevelop and implement processes to drive continuous improvement in demand planningPerform analysis and reporting including:Lead new product forecast creation and analysis for assigned regionPrepare, maintain and publish reporting to monitor and assess performanceAnalyze and interpret sales results to drive future demand forecastingProduce and analyze ad-hoc and/or ongoing reporting as neededCoordinate, track, and communicate both allocations and gratis requests to support inventory for newness, events, and promotionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in demand planning or merchandise planning, retail or CPG experience preferredStrong Excel and analytical skills required; PowerBI and Oracle Planning Cloud experience preferredStrong track record of cross-functional influence and stakeholder alignmentThrive on solving problems and implementing creative solutionsMust be highly organized and have strong attention to detailPassion for product, specifically cosmetics and skincareCreative, positive and high-energy individual with an ability to executeMust be able to work from Corporate Office at least 60% of the timeThe expected base salary range for this position is 90,000 to $100,000 per year.
