Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a locally headquartered, growing manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys a combination of warehouse operations, inventory control, customer communication, and administrative responsibilities.


We're looking for someone who can ensure products are received accurately, shipped on time, and properly documented while supporting production and customer service efforts.


Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for shipment and ensure order accuracy
• Complete shipping paperwork and documentation
• Obtain freight quotes and identify the best shipping rates
• Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Review inbound deliveries and verify items and quantities before accepting shipments
• Sign Bills of Lading and receiving documentation
• Document discrepancies and communicate issues to Purchasing
• Load and unload trucks as instructed
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records
• Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Office to perform daily job duties
• Collaborate with the Production Manager regarding open orders and shipping schedules
• Communicate directly with customers regarding order status, shipping timelines, and tracking information
• Ensure warehouse organization and efficient movement of materials

Qualifications

• Previous shipping and receiving, warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience preferred
• Experience using QuickBooks and Microsoft Office preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
• Professional customer service skills
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent bending, crouching, reaching, and lifting
• Comfortable working in warehouse conditions
• Ability to safely load, unload, and move materials as needed
