We learn continuously, both on the job and through formal training programs.Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesProject planningCollaborate with client sponsors and stakeholders to define scope and ensure that deliverables are prioritized and aligned with the agreed scopeCreate project charter and plan (Tasks, Schedule, Budget, Dependencies)Project executionTrack overall progress of project to verify that SDLC processes are occurring and Project artifacts are being created, reviewed as approved as requiredCoordinate and monitor all project activitiesManage time, cost and scope through to implementationIdentify, monitor and mitigate risksIdentify, document, assign, track and resolve issuesCoordinate adjustments to project plan as needed and take appropriate corrective actionsCommunicationEnsure that expectations of client sponsors and stakeholders are well managedPlan, facilitate, conduct and participate in various project meetings with clients and/or team members as well as internal C2 managementManage dependencies as neededChange controlEnsure that change control processes are defined, followed and updated based on approved changesResource managementAssist in assembling the project teamEnsure team members and participants (internal & external) understand their roles, responsibilities, and deliverables schedulesLead and mentor team membersProvide feedback to functional managers, as appropriateSupport other team members, as neededRequired Education & ExperienceProven ability to manage and deliver e-commerce development projectsStrong leadership project management skills, including: -project planning and execution -Issue and scope management -resource motivation and managementExperience with MS technologies & MS Office Suite (Project, Visio & Powerpoint)8-10 years professional services experienceContextual understanding of technical architecture and development of large scale systemsStructured SDLC and software delivery methodology experienceDemonstrated experience facilitating sessions with a cross functional audienceDemonstrated experience and understanding of multi-channel distribution & B2C eCommerce business modelsBachelor’s degree in a related field (computer science, MIS, electrical engineering)Knowledge, Skills & CertificationsSuperior written and verbal communication skillsStrong relationship management skills (team members and clients) Ability to interact effectively at all levels of an organization Strong expectation management skillsPassionate, ability to learn, flexibleCreative, entrepreneurial self starterTeam and solutions orientedVery strong business analysis, analytical and problem solving skillsAdvance degree in a related field (computer science, MIS, electrical engineering)Travel RequirementsOccasional travel to customers for meetings & onsite workSummaryType: ContractFunction: Information TechnologyExperience level: Mid-Senior LevelIndustry: Computer Software
