Student Leader Aide

Student Leader Aide For students who have been elected or selected to a Student Life Department position. The part-time Student Leader Aide provides a variety of clerical support. Essential functions include answering phone calls, providing back-up office and clerical support, operating standard office equipment, inputting data into computer database, maintaining automated files and department related documentation, leading and planning student activities and meetings, assisting in marketing and promoting campus programming, and serving as student liaison on college-wide improvement meetings. Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma. Desired qualifications include typing and word processing skills, basic office skills, communication skills, ability to operate a personal computer, related software, and peripheral equipment, and ability to work in a multicultural environment. The work environment is inside in an office environment with flexible hours/days based on department needs up to 20 hrs/week. $15.00 hourly up to 26 hours per week based on department needs, financial aid awards and budget constraints. This is a student pool position.
