Join Our Dynamic Night Shift ICU Team!

Job Description:


- Unit: ICU
- Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Block Scheduling may vary)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly
- Contract Duration: 89 Weeks

Key Qualifications:


- 2+ years of experience in ICU (ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU)
- 4-5 years of ICU experience preferred
- Required travel experience
- Skills checklist must match the specialty
- Current NY RN license and all active RN licenses
- Up to date resume
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications
- Drivers license with matching address

Preferred Experience:


- Expertise in CRRT and Prismaflex
- Heart experience highly desired

Unit Details:


- Beds: 42 (East 20, West 22)
- Neuro/Med: 22 beds, CTICU: 6 beds, Surg/Trauma: 14 beds
- Common patient diagnoses include:
- Neuro/Med: Strokes, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Respiratory Failure, CHF, Post-STEMI
- CTICU: Cardiovascular surgery, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Surgery
- Surg/Trauma: Trauma, Major post-operative care
- Specialty equipment used:
- IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Artic Sun)
- Floating requires coverage to various units, excluding Behavioral and ER (unless holding)
