Job DescriptionThe Sr. Learning & Leadership Specialist provides support for enterprise learning programs and initiatives by identifying and aligning learning needs to Nordstrom’s top business priorities. In partnership with HR and business leaders, you’ll implement learning strategy and experiences through stakeholder engagement, project planning, design & delivery, and data driven measurement of results. You’ll work across all levels of the organization, serve as a trusted partner, and operate proactively to bring priorities to life through our people-driven learning programs. The successful candidate will demonstrate curiosity, effective communication skills, be solution orientated, and have a track record of delivering successful learning & talent management solutions.A day in the life…Partner closely with HR and the greater talent management team to identify and align on learning needs and strategies that support business outcomes, utilizing data and feedbackDevelop and deliver people-centric solutions, ranging from technical and skill-based to competency-based development; bringing forward scalable and sustainable learning solutions that meet the needs of diverse audiences across the enterprise.Facilitate engaging, virtual and in-person learning experiences for audiences ranging from frontline leaders to senior leaders, applying adult learning principles to build skills that carry over to the job and support business priorities.Equip and enable HR partners, people leaders, and subject matter experts to facilitate by creating facilitator guides and toolkits, running train-the-facilitator sessions, and coaching them, so learning can scale across the enterprise without relying on the Learning team to deliver every sessionActively engage in strategic planning, project management, and execution to support and enhance learning programs.Analyze and measure the impact of key initiatives to drive continuous improvement and innovate future learning and talent management solutions.Research and present findings on industry trends and advanced approaches to learning and talent management solutions.Lead various projects in a fast-paced, continuously evolving, and ambiguous environment with a sense of urgency and drive for resultsDeliver exemplary internal customer service through strong professionalism and project ownership/management.You own this if you have...5+ years of experience in adult learning including a proven track record of delivering learning and/or talent management solutions that drive positive business outcomesExperience conducting needs analysis and analyzing data, with a strong consultative approach that leads to actionFamiliarity with design thinking and agile learning development techniquesExperience working in a build, buy, and curate business model including design and delivery of an end-to-end learning experience, project management, and consulting with business partners to curate contentExperience facilitating learning for diverse audiences and building the capability of others to deliver it effectively.Experience managing complex, broad-scoped learning projects within budget and projected timelineEffective time management skills with ability to organize and prioritize work in response to changing business needsAbility to collaborate effectively to build successful relationships with HR partners as well as internal and external business stakeholdersExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office SuiteExperience with Workday preferredRetail industry knowledge preferredFamiliarity with using AI to enhance learning experiences is preferredLocation:This is a hybrid role requiring the selected candidate to live within a commutable distance of the Nordstrom corporate offices in Seattle, WA and to work onsite four (4) days per week.Pay Range DetailsThe pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations.
