Physician - Pediatric Hospitalist

We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for a 52-week locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity begins on Sep 21, 2025, and involves rounding with 24-hour call shifts. The Pediatric Hospitalist will be responsible for managing care in the delivery room, including emergency procedures and neonatal resuscitation. Experience with Epic EMR systems is essential, enhancing your ability to provide efficient and effective patient care. Job Details Location: California Start Date: Sep 21, 2025 LOA: 52 weeks Provider Type Needed: Pediatric Hospitalist Schedule: Rounding followed by 24-hour out of house call; specific dates include Sep 21 - Oct 1, Oct 17 - Oct 20, and Dec 21 - Dec 28, with 5-10 shifts a month ongoing Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive care in the delivery room Manage emergency umbilical lines and other acute scenarios Perform and supervise neonatal resuscitation Ensure accurate documentation and patient records using the Epic EMR system Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide continuous patient care Additional Information Must be board certified in Pediatrics Required to hold an active California medical license Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required Experience in delivery room settings is preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
