We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our dynamic team and contribute to the exclusive luxury and outstanding service that define our hotel. As a Restaurant Supervisor you’ll take charge of a diverse array of dining experiences, assisting in overseeing everything from the Society 1854 Restaurant, The Burdock and Bitters Lobby Lounge, In-Room Dining, Jewell on Capitol and the lively Pano Pool Bar. We currently have two open positions available an AM shift from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and a PM shift from 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

What will you be doing?

· Able to perform all roles within the outlet, including server, cashier, and expeditor.

· Supervise staff, manage operations in absence of the manager, and assist with ongoing training to uphold standards.

· Interact positively with guests, promote hotel services, and resolve issues effectively to ensure satisfaction.

· Monitor food preparation and service to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to time quotes and standards.

· Oversee inventory, control payroll and equipment costs, and maintain outlet profitability.

· POS system for billing and reporting; maintain house bank and manage financial transactions accurately.

· Enforce sanitation and cleanliness across all areas; uphold a professional appearance and ethical conduct.

· Implement sales incentives, track competition, and stay informed on hospitality trends.

What do you bring to the role?

· Must read and speak English fluently to understand guest requests and communicate effectively, especially under pressure.

· Prior restaurant and hospitality experience required; bartending experience is required.

· Understand room service operations, including staffing, service equipment, and guest relations.

· Handle complaints professionally, demonstrate empathy, and provide timely, effective solutions.

· Supervise staff using Marcus and Marriott standards, motivate independent workers, and track shopper reports for improvement.

· Monitor hotel floors for tray management and ensure timely room service deliveries.

· Efficiently manage multiple tasks, including handling several phone lines simultaneously.

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate. Bartending certificate preferred. TIPS and Douglas County food handler certification required. CPR certification and/or First Aid Training preferred.

Pay Estimate: $21.00/hour
