• Paying $17.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team. This position involves operating a forklift in an outdoor warehouse and yard environment with dirt terrain while moving, loading, unloading, and organizing large steel and plastic pipes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and assisting with inventory management and yard organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move steel and plastic pipe materials throughout the yard.

• Load and unload trucks while ensuring materials are handled properly and securely.

• Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and material tracking.

• Organize and maintain yard inventory for easy access and accurate counts.

• Conduct daily forklift inspections and report any equipment issues.

• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely movement of materials.

• Perform general yard and warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience required.

• Experience working in a warehouse, pipe yard, lumber yard, construction supply yard, or similar environment preferred.

• Ability to safely move and handle large steel and plastic pipes.

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Must have experience operating a forklift.

• Must be comfortable working outdoors on dirt terrain.

• Steel-toe boots are required.

Work Environment

• Outdoor warehouse and yard setting.

• Uneven dirt terrain and exposure to weather conditions.

• Frequent forklift operation and material handling.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
