**$10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS**

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Goldwater Care Pontiac. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing direct nursing care to our residents and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and make written and oral reports as required

• Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift

• Complete and file required recordkeeping forms/charts upon admission, transfer, and/or discharge

• Receive and transcribe telephone orders from physicians and record on the Physician's Order Form

• Chart nurse notes in an informative and descriptive manner

• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician

• Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel

• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis throughout the unit and shift

• Administer professional services such as catheterization, tube feedings, and applying and changing dressings/bandages, as required

• Monitor assigned personnel to ensure compliance with established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies

• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information and report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state licensure

• Ability to work 12 hours a shift

• Pass Background Check
