Snelling is recruiting an experienced Inventory/Receiving Specialist for a Birmingham-area company. This position will be responsible for receiving, organizing, tracking, and distributing inventory and materials while helping maintain accurate inventory records.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and shipments
• Verify quantities and items against packing slips and purchase orders
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts
• Pull, stage, and distribute materials as needed
• Organize and maintain a clean and orderly warehouse/inventory area
• Assist with shipping and preparing materials for delivery
• Communicate with internal departments regarding inventory and material needs
• Occasionally travel to Oxford and Gadsden, AL to assist with inventory and receiving needs
• Safely load, unload, and move materials as needed
• Perform other warehouse and inventory-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous inventory, receiving, warehouse, or material-handling experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to accurately track inventory and paperwork
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift and move materials as required
• Forklift experience is a plus

Additional Details:

• Monday–Friday, 1st Shift
• $18–$20/hour , depending on experience
• Occasional travel to Oxford and Gadsden, AL
• Mileage paid for travel to additional locations
• Full-time opportunity
