Working closely with the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and the Office of Mental Health, we support 27 housing locations and 3 administrative buildings.About the Role:We are looking for a proactive employee to provide person-centered services and supports in order to assist participants residing in an Individualized Residential Alternative (IRA) to achieve independence, maintain their health and safety, and maintain stable housing.Responsibilities include:Assisting the program manager with the day to day operations of the IRAProvision of services for participants including supporting ADL skillsProviding support to maintain the health of participantsMonitoring and maintaining all participants safety in the IRA as well as in the communityEducation & ExperienceHigh School diploma/GED plus 2 years' experience working with people with disabilities required, or Associates degree in Human Service field plus one year experience working with people with disabilities. Supervisory experience preferred.Conditions of EmploymentMust have a valid NYS driver's license in accordance with the Agency Vehicle and Driving policy and transportation necessary to meet program needs.
