Catholic Administrative Religious Education Coordinator – Fort Bragg, NC

Part-Time | $20 per Hour | 17–18 Hrs per Week | 1099 Contractor

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Catholic Administrative Religious Education Coordinator to support the Catholic community in Fort Bragg.

Working alongside the Catholic Chaplain, Priest, and Religious Support Office, you'll help keep religious education programs, church services, and community events running smoothly.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, managing details, and making a meaningful contribution to the military community.

What You'll Do

• Prepare weekly church bulletins, announcements, and monthly community calendars.
• Support Catholic Mass services, including preparing liturgical materials and supplies.
• Maintain parish registrations, sacramental records, and administrative documentation.
• Coordinate religious education classes, materials, and classroom arrangements.
• Help organize Catholic community events, special services, and Holy Day celebrations.
• Prepare event flyers, coordinate facility reservations, and support community communications.
• Track attendance, maintain supply records, and prepare monthly reports.
• Attend Religious Support Office meetings and work closely with the Catholic Chaplain and Priest.

What We're Looking For

• A practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
• Ability to obtain Catechist certification through the Archdiocese for the Military Services within 90 days of contract award.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
• Willingness to complete required background checks, child protection training, and installation access procedures.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
