Role Description The Investment Banking Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in the Cincinnati Metropolitan Area. This role supports deal teams in executing M&A and capital advisory transactions, including building detailed financial models, performing valuation analyses, and preparing client presentations and marketing materials. The Associate conducts thorough industry, company, and market research, participates in due diligence processes, and helps coordinate information flow among clients, counterparties, and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities also include drafting pitch books, managing data rooms, supporting negotiations, and assisting in the preparation of engagement documentation and transaction closing materials. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Strong Finance and Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data. Proficiency in Financial Modeling and Valuation techniques used in M&A and capital advisory transactions. Experience conducting Due Diligence, including reviewing financial statements, legal documents, and operational information. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional credential (e.g., MBA, CFA) is a plus. Prior experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or related roles within the middle-market is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear presentations and client materials. High level of integrity, professional judgment, and commitment to client service. Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial databases and research tools is beneficial.
