Job Description
A Commercial Litigation Associate job involves supporting senior attorneys in all aspects of commercial litigation, from case preparation and legal research to drafting documents, court appearances, and settlement negotiations.
Commercial Litigation Associate
Pay Rate: $315 000-385 000
- Experience drafting briefs and motions, handling fact and expert discovery, and engaging in deposition and trial preparation.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, research, analysis, and writing skills, as well as a track record of academic and professional excellence.
- Assume significant responsibility in the management of your matters, and to take on a front-facing role with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.
Qualifications
Bar membership, active and in good standing, in the jurisdiction (Illinois) where you are practicing, is also required.
To be considered, you must submit a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and a writing sample.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
