Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) Registered Nurse (RN) Carlsbad, New Mexico. The role supports general skilled nursing (SNF) level of care across swing bed needs, including rehab and medical/surgical coverage. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days, 6:30a7p, with 12 shift hours; minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current RN licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS); minimum 1 year of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience; comfort with floating within scope of practice and clinical competency, including rehab and medical/surgical settings.
• Responsibilities: Provide general skilled nursing (SNF) level of care nursing duties for assigned patients, including swing bed coverage as needed.
• Additional Information: Floating and call may be required. Call varies and is tied to census needs (census flex on call prior to the start of the scheduled shift if census is low). Blocked scheduling may be accommodated; fingerprints for all New Mexico travelers are required.
• Submission Requirements: Ensure agency registration with the state of New Mexico prior to submission, as the fingerprint process can take several weeks.
