Director - Power Trading & Origination

10+ years of power trading, origination, and/or operations experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Knowledge and understanding of business development: business vision, strategies, and goals Experience with trading physical commodities within the financial services industry A master's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics Strong financial background in capital market Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment Responsibilities Identify the origination, modeling, portfolio management and all risk management including compliance and operational risk Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex initiatives that require an in-depth evaluation Complete work in accordance with all risk management, compliance and business process expectations Provide vision, direction and expertise to more experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solution Make decisions requiring solid understanding of policies, procedures and compliance requirement Conduct due diligence and portfolio administration as necessary and provide research on relevant industry trend Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goal Lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor #J-18808-Ljbffr PRI Global
