Traffic Clerk

Traffic Clerk Location: Redlands, CA Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour Job Duties Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading, shipping labels, packing lists, waybills, and other transportation paperwork Create inbound receiving documentation for imported sea containers Coordinate shipping appointments with warehouse personnel and transportation carriers Schedule inbound and outbound freight pickups and ensure timely loading and deliveries Verify orders for accuracy and compliance with customer routing guides and company procedures Check in drivers, assign dock doors, and coordinate loading and unloading activities Process shipping transactions and maintain accurate transportation records Reconcile open purchase orders for inbound shipments File, scan, and maintain shipping documentation and records Record and manage CHEP pallet transactions through the CHEP website Research freight rates, analyze carrier performance, and recommend cost‑saving opportunities Utilize customer web portals and transportation systems for shipment processing Support transportation projects and other logistics initiatives as assigned Requirements Minimum 3 years of clerical, logistics, shipping, or receiving experience in a retail distribution warehouse (CPG experience preferred), or a degree in Supply Chain Management Minimum 2 years of experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS); Oracle experience preferred Knowledge of transportation principles, carrier regulations, and shipping processes preferred Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and appointment scheduling preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication, organization, and follow‑up skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Strong problem‑solving and customer service skills Benefits Solid Weekly Pay – Direct deposit or payment card, your choice.
