Must-Have: 2 or more years experience working in PICU and/or level III or greater NICU
Description:
Seeking a Respiratory Therapist to work in a pediatric and neonatal environment.
The role involves providing all aspects of respiratory care, including various therapies and ventilator management.
Daily treatments will include a range of respiratory procedures.
Candidates must possess strong skills in airway management and inter-hospital transport.
Independent intubation is not required; assistance with intubation is expected.
Preferred qualifications include RRT certification; CRT is acceptable.
All certifications must be current, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP for the NICU.
Weekend shifts are required, with a commitment of 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.
The respiratory team consists of multiple therapists per shift for adequate coverage.
No floating to other areas is required, and shift preferences may be accommodated with a commitment to weekend shifts.
The facility utilizes various models of ventilators and respiratory equipment for patient care.
Experience in both inpatient and emergency settings is essential.
Candidates must be adaptable and prepared for a dynamic healthcare environment.
