Responsibilities:

• Move trailers in and out of dock doors safely and efficiently
• Perform daily inspections of yard trucks and trailers
• Communicate with warehouse and shipping teams regarding trailer locations
• Maintain organization of the yard and ensure safety procedures are followed
• Secure trailers and verify proper placement at docks
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
• Follow company policies and safety regulations at all times

Experience

• Experience operating yard trucks, semi-trailers, or spotting equipment
• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience preferred
• Knowledge of trailer movement procedures and dock operations
• Ability to safely back trailers into dock doors and maneuver in tight spaces
• Experience performing vehicle inspections and reporting maintenance issues
• Familiarity with safety regulations and yard protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
