This remote position allows you to provide essential mental health services while working from the comfort of your home in Aurora, Illinois. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments for a diverse clientele, accurately identifying needs to develop customized treatment plans tailored to each individual's situation.

  • Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.

  • Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, empowering patients to navigate challenges and fostering a sense of belonging within the community.

  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.

  • Provide crisis intervention services to those experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and safety for all patients.

  • Educate patients on various mental health conditions, clarifying treatment options and connecting them with community resources for ongoing support.

  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring all patient interactions are recorded accurately.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse population, including individuals, couples, and families grappling with various mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. By tailoring your approach to each patient’s unique background and experiences, you will significantly contribute to their recovery journey and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.
  • \n
  • Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders, advanced treatment methods, and effective therapeutic techniques.

  • Ability to conduct detailed mental health assessments and craft strategic, individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes.

  • Experience providing therapy to various demographics, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and awareness.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and trust with patients and colleagues.

  • Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining professional boundaries.

  • Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office applications for documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n
