Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Shifts Available: Day Shift

Employment Type: Full-Time

Hours: 8-hour shift (7:30-6:00 Monday through Thursday and Fridays 7:30-3:00)

Location: Providence Medical Center- Kansas City, KS

Join our outpatient rehab team as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) and help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and return to daily activities. You'll work alongside licensed Physical Therapists to deliver personalized care for orthopedic, post-surgical, and sports-related conditions in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

• Provide outpatient physical therapy treatments under PT supervision
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient treatment environment
• Assist with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities
• Monitor and document patient progress in EMR
• Educate patients on home exercise programs (HEP)
• Support orthopedic and post-surgical rehab care plans
• Ensure compliance with Medicare/CMS and clinic protocols

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

• An Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state Physical Therapist Assistance license
• Current BCLS (AHA) Certificate upon hire and maintain current

Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:

• Healthcare experience preferred
